Hi it is Stacey here and as many of you know I have decided to set up a charity called Kisses4kids. I decided start raising money when I was in hospital having treatment and was told that the radiotherapy ward was setting up a waiting room for children of my age. In this room it will have stuff such as a board games and many other things that should help pass the time, while children are waiting to go in for their treatment. To raise the money I held many teddy tombola’s and cake stalls. We were also given many generous donations overall we raised £2000 we took it to the hospital and they were very grateful. Because we had done very well raising the money and was very happy we thought it would be a good idea to set up a charity called Kisses4kids, we hope to give disadvantaged children wishes and take them presents at Christmas and treats while staying in hospital. Also last year when I was unwell and having a bad time I was given many treats such as going to see the lion king and going to a fight for life party at Christmas where I meet many famous people such as Neil Fox, Rachel Stevens, Christian Slater, Simon cowells brother, peter and Lucy from eastenders, x-factors Beverly and hope and many more people, while I was having these treats it made me feel very happy and I would like other children to feel the same sort of way when we give them treats with the money that we have raised as it makes you forget about everything and all they need to do is enjoy themselves. This year I have an auction coming up of 5th May and I will also be doing more tombola’s and cake stalls and then I hope we will be well on our way to our target!
