The 43-year-old admits she has often felt helpless as her teenage daughter has undergone endless rounds of chemotherapy, exhausting bouts of sickness and the indignity of losing her hair.

Five days after Chemo :\

I woke up this morning feeling rough!!!

I didn't do much today, after the mistake of going into town on Monday and tiring myself out!

I have had a pretty quite day today! I had to go to the doctors at 10 this morning and I also met a lady from Isabelle hospice, she seemed really nice, she suggested for me to go to the day centre in Thorley.

The main side effect that I am suffering with is tiredness, hopefully it will get better soon.....

I'm really hoping that this time I get my silver lining, I have come to UCH today so I miss the hustle and bustle of rush hour tomorrow, as I cant really cope with the many many people walking in and out and round about me. My brother has come to keep me company today and tomorrow too :-D.

Chemo starts again

Yesterday I had to go up to UCLH to see my consultant, about my scan results. We got a phone call saying that I would have to start a new treatment, but not necessary chemo.

I left about 9.30 to go to my brothers house, as he was taken me closer into London, we met mum and dad at Tottenham Hale. We got to Tottenham Hale about 11.30 and then we went for some lunch to KFC! After that we got on the tube to go the Warren Street, thats when the nerves kicked in, the fifteen minute tube ride felt like it was never going to end.............
